It’s good to keep these notes handy when building your chicken coop. Be sure that the chicken keep has enough room to provide storage as well. The door to the chicken coop needs to be wide enough and swing inwards. This ensure that it is easy to access it when you need to clean it. Depending on where you live, you may want to put a lock on the door. Remember that the floor of the chicken coop should have wood shavings on it for the chickens.
